The largest castle in the world, famous Astronomical Clock, John Lennon's graffiti wall, Dancing House, and many cool spots with breathtaking views and beer gardens. That's only a fraction of what you can experience in one of the most visited cities.
Our events offer a unique opportunity to build new friendships with people from different parts of the world and network with lecturers or speakers. During the past five years, we have welcomed participants from almost 50 countries worldwide.
Enjoy yourself, we take care of the essentials! You can look forward to rich coffee breaks, tasty lunches, and dinners during all our face-to-face events. In the evening, you can attend social program to get in touch with others.
Hello, my name is Vojtěch Zíka, and I am the founder of CEBEX Events. It all started in 2017 when we run the first one-week-long series of lectures focused on human decision-making. More than 400 people from more than 50 countries came to Prague and attended our events since then. Our mission is to deliver well-balanced academic events and combine a cutting-edge education with a unique networking experience. To ensure the former, we bring you a variety of speakers with both theoretical and practical backgrounds. For the latter, we put together evening programs which enable you to get to know each other.
We did as we planned and ran the 2021 summer school in hybrid form. Even though most students still attended the program online, those in Prague finally enjoyed some face-to-face interactions with fellow students and lecturers.
CEBEX events are all about personal touch and networking. However, under the global pandemic circumstances, we decided to run all our events online. From 2020 forward, we aim to maintain this tradition and offer our events both face-to-face and online.
We were proud to award a Nobel prize laureate, Vernon L. Smith, with the Allais Memorial Prize in Behavioral Sciences during a second edition of the Prague Conference on Behavioral Sciences. Vernon Smith is a godfather of the field of experimental economics, and as such, he was a perfect fit for our lab.
One year after we founded the experimental laboratory, we decided to offer our passion – behavioral sciences – to the general public. First, we started an annual Prague Conference on Behavioral Sciences (PCBS). Second, we began CEBEX Summer School on Behavioral Sciences (CSS).
