Marek Hudík is a researcher at the Center for Theoretical Study of Charles University and the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. He also teaches at the Faculty of Business Administration of the University of Economics in Prague. His past experiences include lecturing at International Business School Suzhou of the Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and numerous other universities where he taught courses focused mainly on macroeconomics, microeconomics and game theory. He was in the EU Economic Policy Coordination Unit of the Czech Office of Government. He obtained a Ph.D. at the University of Economics in Prague with his dissertation focusing on Economic theory and history of economic thought. His main research interests are game theory, philosophy of science, and history of economic thoughts, on which he published several articles including Why economics is not a science of behavior (2011) or Homo Economicus and Homo Stramineus (2015).
